jetBlue 25 for 25 Challenge: FAQs and Rules

  • Blue Basic fares do not count. Book Blue or above.
  • Partner airlines do not count.
  • Only unique destination airports count, origin airports do not.
  • Metro areas like New York, Boston and Miami with multiple airports, each airport counts as a unique destination.
    • New York (JFK, LGA, EWR)
    • Boston (BOS, PVD, ORH, MHT) (this is jetBlues definition of Boston airports, not mine)
    • Miami (FLL, MIA, PBI)
  • Layover airports do count. Even if you are only there for a short time.
  • 150K Points will be awarded after 15 total unique destinations. An additional 200K after 20 unique total destinations. And then 25 years of Mosaic 1 status after 25 total unique destinations. The terms say that you should get those miles and rewards 2-3 weeks after completing a task – but there are no data points on that yet. So keep that in mind if you are waiting on points to book new flights and you are getting close to the end of the year.
  • jetBlue and United will be partnering up this year (still pending DOJ approval) – meaning Mosaic status on jetBlue can get you reciprocal perks on United for 25 years and that you can spend your earned jetBlue points on United flights.
  • Mosaic 1 perk details.
